Nippon Paint Marine has launched AQUATERRAS 1100, a biocide-free hull coating designed for commercial vessels that need fouling control without relying on traditional biocides. The company says the product is intended for medium- to high-activity ships and is already being positioned around fuel savings, emissions reduction and regulatory compliance in major shipbuilding markets.
